Born in Fresno and raised in San Diego, Buffalo One is self-taught and well known for his intricate illustrations that sometimes make their way into the streets of San Diego as wheat pasted posters. Buffalo has exhibited his work in several group exhibitions, usually guided by a theme. In producing work for Nyctophillia, he was able to break away from working with themes to truly focus on his vision being highly influenced by his own experience with the night life. Embodying a colossal energy yet remaining humble in spirit, Buffalo creates his highly detailed work using sharpies, watercolors, prisma pens and color pencils. Burning the midnight oil working several jobs, the night has fueled Buffalo’s latest body of work as he communicates the beauty and wonders he finds in the night. Join us for the opening reception Saturday, May 10, from 5-10pm. The exhibit will be open to the public for viewing through June 8, 2014. Comments are closed.
